Making millions selling wine with words.
Jon Rimmerman travels the world, searching high and low, for the best and most interesting winemakers. His supertasting (and superwriting) skills have combined to drive his online-only Garagiste to over $30 million in annual sales.
Mind you, though he has a website, he has no online catalog, or even an online shopping cart for that matter. He does it all through a simple daily email offer, and to order, he writes “simply reply to this email or send Nicki a note.”
These aren’t your normal daily deals: “Dear Friends, somewhere along the path to wine-related enlightenment” goes the beginning of a recent note and then it turns to describing his travels along the backroads of Turkey or the rocky dry hills of Sicily.
His vivid stories are delightful and captivating. He describes people and their surroundings, and the unusual wines they make.
Wine and story are his business, and his compelling emails get people to stop and take notice, and purchase.
Put the same secret weapon to work for your business. Create scenes and characters that bring your solutions and results to life. Talk differently, write differently and stand out. It takes some more effort, but the return is worth it.
