“How can I help?” is one of my favorite questions, for any occasion. And it’s the only question that truly matters.
It’s an earnest, honest and active question that puts you in the right frame of mind for:
- Discovery – what are the problems at hand and what’s really needed?
- Design – what’s the right solution and how will it be used?
- Delivery – when and how does a solution need to be finished?
Senses are heightened. Steps are laid out. There is a plan for problems to be solved.
Even better, it puts you in the humble role of servant which almost always promotes the right activities – and rewards.
Legendary author and trainer Zig Ziglar said it best:
“You can get everything in life you want if you just help enough other people get what they want.”
Have a great week.
